DETROIT -- The Cleveland Indians have activated designated hitter Travis Hafner from the paternity list. Cleveland optioned utilityman Vinny Rottino to Triple-A Columbus on Saturday to make room for Hafner on the 25-man roster. The Indians have lost seven straight and trail the first-place Chicago White Sox by 8 1/2 games in the AL Central entering Saturday nights game at Detroit.
