If the world is our oyster then should time or distance keep two people apart?
des·ti·ny[des-tuh-nee]–noun, plural -nies. the predetermined, usually inevitable or irresistible, course of events.
Can this be true? I do believe that everything that happens in our lives leads us to this exact moment. But this is where I waiver from the definition. I believe everyday we have a choice, maybe the choice isn't as clear as we would like but we do choose. Not choosing to make a choice is still choosing.
For the sake of indulgence, let's say that we are aware of ourselves and are living our lives with intent and integrity and are able to recognize an ultimate destiny. The free will to choose is there. Do you choose?
Yes, of course we all want to choose ultimate. But like everything there is an element of risk. Nothing is free. To what means are we then willing to go to to realize our ultimate destiny? What is our mission in life?
Here is the quandary. When given the opportunity to actualize destiny, do you go for it at all cost? Should distance, finances, social obligations, societal values and beliefs as to what is right keep us from throwing caution to the wind and just going for it? I think I just answered my own dilemma, I actually knew the answer all along, I suppose it helps to see it all laid out in front of me like this. I say YES, YES,YES! Go for it, a path that presents itself as ultimate is supreme. What is more important to our well being than love and acceptance?
More flexible life patterns could . . . "nurture and renew our spirits through opportunities to actualize personal dreams"
