Depression....
Able to look at the world through tear stained eyes,
Knowing that you have been told only lies.
Trying to accept the truth that it is over-
only t express your thoughts that needed
to be spoken.
Keep trying to find hope in what you believe,
And all is found is lost like a ship at sea.
Trying to accept what is real,
And telling the world how you feel.
Wanting to end it all,
Only to make it easier by nightfall.
Keeping it all from the ones who love you,
Seeing that the truth and hiding it so
deeply as you do.
Hurting with each passing day,
When all you need for someone to whisper
"I LOVE YOU yesterday, tomorrow, and forever...
I will stay."
