im thinking of...doing a mural on my bedroom wall.
only cuz it desperately needs something done to it...
cuz well...lets face it...the paint job on it is dismal.
who on earth thinks its a good idea to take a shade of cream paint and use it as a touch up over eggshell pray tell?

i have a few ideas...
the first was pastels.
cuz i can do pastels...and create exactly the forestry meets water mesh i want...
and as long as i seal it...it wouldnt smudge.
i could also do acrylic or oils...but...
im really not fond of acrylics...
ive never liked the finish product texture
the same with oils...sure they're ok...but the colour is never picture perfect...and attempting to blend is just the devil incarnate...
watercolour would never in a million years do the job...come to think of it...pastels really wont give me the correct shades either...cuz they're well...pastel.
im not a pastel person.
and pastels...have that whole...crayon thing going on.

a pen & ink sort of thing...shaded in...
with house paints
cuz house paints...the interior sort always have exactly the shades im looking for...
so yeah...
rough draft directly on the wall in charcoal...
outlines in actual ink...
shaded in interior high gloss wall paint.

scrap that whole idea and get a wallpaperesque mural...but i hate the smell of wallpaper paste...
tho the uber-expensive wallpaper with the glossy shine on it looks superfantastic on a wall...
completely different from shitty washable which isnt really washable...
of course the last time i used that uber expensive wallpaper i was a kid...and it cost a pretty penny...but it was completely worth it as well...

in the mean time...i think i'll just work on sanding down my dresser and painting it a high gloss black...n then ima paint a chinese cherry tree on it....and it'll all be good.
stupid bus forgot to make its stop today...so i hadda drive the kids to school...which isnt that big a deal cuz its like a 5 minute ride...im bitchin more outta inconvenience and annoyance.
i should be in bed.
