My first try and poetry in a long time let me know what you think.
Death is near
I sit alone at night in the dark
Wondering what will happen to me
Will I die or live today
You can feel it but sometimes it just passes you by
The cold heads of death reaching out to you.
You start to remember life's things that have happen to you
Could you have done better.
How will people remember you.
You go all day about your daily life wondering
is he coming for you. Maybe not today maybe not tomorrow.
But who really knows when.
You cant hide from him when it is your time
its your time. Maybe today maybe tomorrow maybe in the future
but the fact is no one lives forever.
Death is almost always near.
