So I have two wonderful kids. We were told they go back to school today, oops wrong info.. should have been yesterday. It happens whatever, no big deal. So I thought anyway. We get transportation aide because I mostly work in the morning before they even get up. Well this wonderful transportation aide is KVCAP.
****THIS PART TOOK PLACE YESTERDAY****
We never heard them honk the horn when they came to get the kids. Our apartment is upstairs but our front door is downstairs so unless you are in the kitchen or livingroom you wont hear someone knocking on the door. Well the driver is either new or just really dumb because their rules are we only honk 2 times and then leave. Nope this one came up on our porch and knocked on the door NEXT to ours that is my downstairs neighbors storage unit. It has a padlock on it, something I would do to for a storage unit. The driver then went to my sons school and told them and another agent we work with that we were "Padlocked in to our apartment and no one could get in or out." No one called from KVCAP which is something they do if they are "worried" and they even tried saying they called our cell phones and my mothers home phone... NEVER HAPPENED. We all have caller ID no calls from them at all.
Later yesterday around1pm I would say I get a phone call from the other Agent we work with asking me "Do you have a padlock on your door?" Now that's a very odd way to start a phone call.. I said "Tammy what in the world are you talking about?" and she told me about KVCAP's driver and everything I told her "Tammy we only have the normal locks on our door, we can come and go as we please, it's the door about 4 inches away from mine that's locked... it's my neighbors storage" and then she told me everything would be worked out for the kids to go to school today... YEAH.
SOOOOOOOO Today my hubby comes in and it's 8:30am and he says the kids are still home and no one showed up from KVCAP so I called and I said my name and my kids names and I asked "How come no one has been here to come get them?" and she said a snotty voice "When our driver showed up to your house yesterday and went to try to knock on the door it was locked" I knew what she was talking about from the day before while talking to Tammy from the other Agents place and said "No that was a mistake, our door doesn't have a padlock on it, Tammy called me yesterday fr.." trying to explain to her what had happened and before I could tell her, she Yelled "AHA! I only told you it was locked and you said PADLOCKED, and because you talked to Tammy I'm gonna put you through to her!" and switched me over to the Tammy at KVCAP I guess she's only "Tammy" in the whole state of Maine... maybe even the world.... So at that point I was pissed because 1: I was cut off 2: She jumped down my throat 3: She was trying to put me in a corner and get me in trouble with DHHS.... NOT GONNA HAPPEN BITCH! So trying to talk to Tammy at KVCAP to see what was going on and explaine to her had happened while talking to Cindy. I told her I wasn't happy about Cindy's additude with me and I was trying to be calm to her it wasn't her fault, and she's going "WELL I WONDER WHY, AND I DON'T LIKE YOURS." and at that point I said "Well let's make this fast why weren't they picked up?" And She told me why was because "Were the door was LOCKED we took them off for the week and we didn't have room for them today but we will tomorrow" and I said "Good but Cindy screwed Up and so didn't you" and I hung up. I called CDS and left a message there for the person who handles our file and transportation and then I called DHHS and let them know so KVCAP can't file a report against up for abuse because if they can't see TWO DOORS NEXT TO EACHOTHER then well COME ON!!!!!!! Grrr!!!!!!!!!!!! I hate how people are stupid here! It's like because one person says something without checking into it at all IT AUTOMATICAL RIGHT! I would hate to be on trial with any of them on the jury! It just pisses me off because it's giving us a bullshit rumor we have to prove them wrong about. So tonight I took one of my kids crayola Sun Catchers craft kit and made a sign for anyone who doesn't think that's got our family name on it and THIS DOOR and our apartment number... just makesure we could be found... doesn't matter because they would still find the door locked..... My mother in law though brought up a really good point when we told her about.... She said if they were soooo worried about it they should have called the cops because it would have been Abuse and a Fire Hazard and we should have been in jail for it... So they really weren't too worried in the first place but just wanted to start trouble sounds kinda right..... Sorry guys I just really needed to Rant about it.
