ok so here is my dilemna. my best friend just left her boyfriend who she had been staying with. she has 2 kids and has since been staying with an ex-boyfriend. apparently that isnt going very well from the text i received earlier. the boyfriend she left was extremely abusive emotionally and mentally. she mentioned that she might have to go back because the situation shes in now is worse. i promised a long time ago that i would always be there to catch her if she fell. right now shes falling. our friendship almost ended over one drunken night where one thing led to another. im sure u can see where all of this is leading by now. it took a long time to get back to where we once were. my apartment is only a one room apartment. i have kids who stay with me a few times a month as well. basically i can break my promise to her and see if she can figure a way out or i can keep my promise which would put us in a situation where we are closely confined with up to 4 kids. the situation would most likely take 2 months to work out because she has no job and no money. her ex-bf didnt want her working because he was afraid she would meet someone else. so what should i do?
a. advise her to go back to a bad situation until she can afford to get her own place.
b. move her in and hope that 6 people can live in harmony for 2 months. |
