He showed up at his FIRST ever visit with her today drunk and scared the fuck out of her. Shes almost 7 and has never met him by his choice. We finally all agreed--me and her parents--that we trusted he was ok enough to meet her and all that--something we have worked towards for almost 4 years now and he fucks it up. He kept trying to hug and hold her and kept calling her Alexis-which was her name when she was born but now her middle name--when her name now is Emily and picks her up and starts walking through the starbucks with her--they thought he was going to kidnap her--her dad-retired airforce-basically had to tackle him to get her out of his arms and of course the police were called.Now Emily is upset and scared to believe anything that comes out of my mouth cuz I told her that she could trust her birthfather and that he would never do anything to hurt her which is why he has stayed away till now because he couldnt keep her safe before.Its going to take months to get her to trust me again much less the fact the rest of her life her one memory of her birthfather was one that pretty much terrorized her.I want to go to her and hold her but she pretty much screamed in fear at the thought of me being with her--Her parents are going to try to talk to her over the next few days but as it sits now my baby doesnt trust me and is to some degree afraid of me.And I didnt do a damn thing but trust that Lee was capable of seeing her--we all believed that
