| So I just had knee surgery 3 weeks ago. At first I was really surprised by how little it hurt and that I was up and moving around fairly quickly. Well low and behold, about a week or so after, my leg started swelling worse and worse, even my foot was swelling. There was deep black bruising on either side of my foot and I couldnt even put a shoe on. I was diagnosed with having edema in my legs (water retention) and till this day I am struggling with the affects from that. Unfortunately my other knee also needs this surgery. Now I am not sure if the hassle is worth getting my knees fixed. |
