My Sister is getting married next month and asked me to be a brides maid. I agreed. The wedding is in fla so had to buy a dress, shoes ect and a ticket to fla. Now she is telling me that she wants me to cover up my chest piece not because she doesn't like it, because she loves it. But because OTHER family members think it is controversial. I lost my children so my chest piece is of 4 four leaf clovers around one big clover and says "forever in my heart" in latin. I have 6 other tattoos, 5 of which will be visible not including teh chest piece due to the cut and style of teh dress but she only wants me to cover the chest piece I got for my kids.
so my question is should I
A: Cover it up, its her wedding, even though she loves the tattoo.
or
B: Leave it visible, it is part of me and a memorial for my children and shouldn't have to cover it up to please people not even involved in the wedding. |
