Consideration
Waves washing upon the shore
Eroding, taking substance,
Swift current churning
Leaving a vacancy, lost safe harbor.
Asking for what’s not there,
from a person who needs.
Is not to consider other’s,
but shallow love of oneself.
To lose, is a vacancy made.
To seek that which has eroded,
looks not to build, but steal,
looks not to create, but destroy.
The means is to replace,
not ask.
The solution is to understand,
not demand.
To love is to consider,
not expect.
To give unconditionally
To be your friend.
