All very good definitions for the word. And yet.....
I find the word a lot deeper in emotion than the book version.
The idea of consideration to me means a chance of security, growth, stability, joy, knowledge and yes even love. The choice is scarey, it's like wearing a blindfold. Do we dare to take that chance that this One may be that person who can guide us. After searching all our lives for that, can we finally let go and allow ourselves that chance, that risk? Our mind and bodies go through a multitude of emotional turmoils deciding one of two simple words, yes or no....
I've know a lot of friends who have decided so easily on this, and they are happy with their decision and choice of partner, but I know of some who have made this decision and have felt a lot of heartache and disappointment. Yet when considering someone, the turmoil is the same, the wondering, can you allow this person to join in your life, your emotions. The fear, the passion, and the excitement are shared by both and yet so is the journey. There will be bumps on this journey for both parties and yet if the choice on both sides is open and honest no bump in the road, big or small will detour from their passion and hearts desire.
