Confessions Of The Soul:
Once again things aren't always as they appear.....Family, Friends, Acquaintances.....All wanting to know themselves and what they want in their lives. While going through the motions of everyday life. Some living a somewhat double life, some happy and content, others confused and lost. All searching for what they desire and need.
One must first know themselves and what they want before they can give someone else a piece of themselves, and give them what they want. With that it is a two way street. Always give and take. No one should give and never receive back. That is so unfair.
Things should not be left unsaid or taken for granted, thinking that one knows what the other feels or doesn't feel and hasn't said. Things left unresolved only eat away at one's soul and one's heart. Whether good nor bad it is better to know than to waste time wondering and drawing your own conclusions.
Friendships can be broken, damaged and destroyed by what is not said or discussed. I myself would rather know then not know at all. When I was younger I experienced this and it took me 25 years to resolve it and move on. To completely get over what I never got to say and what was never talked about. But it worked out and we are still friends to this day.
Most people have a hard time opening up, talking about their feelings and even admitting them. Some don't want to hurt the other involved so they leave it alone and don't say anything. It boils down to the fear of being hurt and hurting someone else.
Just like some people spend their life looking for their "Soulmate" when they usually are right in front of them and they don't realize it. A friend told me that a year or so ago and I wasn't sure if it was some sort of nonchalant way to say how they felt or just a saying they were repeating. Such is life I guess.
In the end we are all lost souls at one point or another all searching for something or someone.
