Ok so the concert was Monday night...I wont go into the long details of getting lost a blue billion times or not being able to find the hotel!!! I leave that to the barb....lol...
Ok so first of all the venue itself was very nice except for the fact that seats were like really really close together with no room for your feet also it didnt help that the seats made you feel like one false move and you'll fall to your death!! Security was tight...I have never been to a concert were they pat you down like a damn criminal....also the ushers were no help whatsoever....but, enough bitching on to the show....
the first band was called the mars valta....they were kinda alternative instrumental hardly no lyrics whatsoever and when they did sing you didnt know what the hell they were saying.....they are not a bad band just different very different....I think that they are one of those bands I could learn to appreciate but, not really get into .....
Now onto the chili peppers!!! Like I said before I have been a fan of them since I was like 14 so, seeing them live was very surreal experience...kinda like the first time I ever seen KISS...I really couldnt believe that I was there....if you want a good show and get your money's worth go see this band...they are really about entertaining the fans and that is what I look for in a concert not heres our new song and the next and the next...they played mainly there new stuff...which was cool....they had a huge screen behind them that showed not only them but, also like really cool graphics....lighting was really awesome.....
I did have one problem too many strobe lights!!! My barb and I have seizures so, although it is cool for everyone else...it could send us into a seizure and ruin our entire night! So, any up and coming bands that read this please be aware a little strobe ok alot of strobe and you could be really making someones night bad....
all and all I really enjoyed it and dont tell my husband but, I will be looking to see who is coming to play in louisville! lol
