A Connecticut based toy company has taken a satirical shot at Obama’s ‘skeeter’ comments, and the subsequent picture that was hastily released by the White House to verify that the president goes shooting “all the time”, by releasing a rifle toting doll of the President.

Priced at $19.95, the doll Obama, produced by Herobuilders.com, wears tan slacks and a white T-shirt with the words “Clay pigeons” printed on it.

The big question is, will these toys be banned from schools around the country as part of the purge on toy guns, gun hand gestures and even pictures of guns?

As we reported earlier this week, detractors accused the White House of blatantly attempting to make the President appear sympathetic to gun owners by concocting a story that Obama likes to shoot clay pigeons with a skeet rifle.

After saying he liked to skeet shoot, Obama told a crowd of reporters that he had “a profound respect for the traditions of hunting that trace back in this country for generations.”

Days later when the White House released the picture, some suggested that the photo was faked, and pointed out that reports from August 4, 2012, his 51st birthday, the day that the picture was supposedly taken, indicated that Obama did not take part in any kind of shooting activity.

Further reports suggested that Obama did indeed shoot clay pigeons on two occasions, according to a source who was present at the Camp David retreat. However, the source noted that “The only time he shot skeet was for President’s Cup,” a shooting competition tradition involving the presidential Marine guards.

“I was there. He stayed for about five minutes, and couldn’t leave fast enough… He couldn’t have been more uncomfortable.” the source added.
