I know that some of you have come to enjoy and even expect my daily poetry postings. And, I in turn enjoy sharing a little of my creativity. But, this is not a prologue to a poem nor is there even a poem attached to this blog. This is just real talk. After all, this is an online ‘community1’ right. In some ways I may take that too literally; but, at the same time, think about it! We even have classes here on CT (Don’t think so? Then why do we have Fam., Friends and Fans (associates)). So with that said; here’s some real talk. I know that some of you have seen me online the past few days and I haven’t stopped by or said “hey”. Well, here’s what’s going on… Last week I applied for one of those “work from home things.” The body of the add spoke about doing ‘Data entry from home’… blah, blah, blah. So, I plunk down 97 bucks for the program and my ‘data entry’ job turns out to be a compilation of affiliate programs. “Oh brother”; I thought at first; and, immediately printed out the refund form. But then I thought about it spent the weekend (when I wasn’t at Super Bowl parties or watching the CAVS lose 3 in a row) doing some research. I concluded that, I have 60 days to apply for my refund; so, why not give it a go. Being a working man, with a budget too big for my income, I knew that spending the approximately $750 - $1000 that it would take to get me to the top of Google and Yahoo searches and a mass email and another $750 - $1500 for web site design was totally out of the question. So I dusted of my internet marketing text (Okay sure the internet has changed since ’99 but the basic principles are the same), and my HTML quick reference and started building my web site. Today is my 4th day on the task and, the more I play with it the more I add to it. I could have launched yesterday; but, this morning a brainstorm hit. What if I could take all that I already knew and add what my resent research had revealed and build my own Mega-Site with all the best stuff presented in an organized manner. So, if you see me online and I don’t speak, I’m not being rude. I’m probably just testing my page within the browser. As always Cherry love! Keep it Hot!
