So Friday in an effort to re energize our feelings about our house, The Hubster, The Roomie, and I began to re-decorate and clean the two main rooms. In the process we found our eldest cat Princess passed away underneath the entertainment center.
Damn her for hiding so often that we didn't notice her disappearance. It was a sad moment and we cleaned her up and then held a sort of funeral for her, with candles and incense at her location of passing.
Earlier in the day i had received a recipe from my grandmother for '5 minute chocolate mug cake' perfect comfort food right there.
5 MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE
4 tbs. cake flower (plain flour, not self-rising)
4 tbs. sugar
2 tbs.baking cocoa
1 egg
3 tsp milk
3 tsp oil
3 tsp chocolate chips (optional)
A small splash vanilla
1 coffee mug
Add dry ingredients to mug and mix well.
Add the egg and mix thoroughly
Pour in the milk and oil and mix well
Add the chocolate chips (if using) and the vanilla. Mix again.
Put your mug in the microwave. Cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts.
The cake will rise over the top of the mug but don’t be alarmed!
Allow to cool a little and tip out onto a plate if desired.
