Where.........in this time of prosparity in the human race, did we lose sight of the ability to be open-minded? I ask this in light of the book burnings, and now the threat of removal of books from the list of assignments in English class. There is one school, I shall not name, that is under the consideration of removing Farenhiet 451 from it's list of reading, and even it's bookshelves. It was assigned to be read and reports to be done. One girl didn't like it, so the school kindly gave her another assignment. Her father, obviously wiser in years, is pushing the issue to remove it because, it talks about burning the bible, and bad talks the lord and savior. I remember not liking the books I read in school, and I failed each one I didn't read. Hell we never got any supplemented reading because we disliked them. So........first thing........it is fiction. A representation of what it could be like if things were different that someone just made up in thier own freaking mind. Second thing........so what if it talks about burning the bible? Burning the bible is everyone's right, just like burning Harry Potter, or that tree in my nieghbor's yard that drops leaves in my yard all year. Get over it, it's called freedom of speach and expression. And lastly........so it talks bad about the god you worship. I worship pussy and when people say sex is wrong and eating pussy is gross, I don't sue them or punch them in the face or take away any of thier rights. I smile, lick some pussy, and feel that much better about myself later. If ya really going to let a fictional book bother you, and if your god is real............he don't want you then. Trust me, he probably made those warts on your ass appear on purpose you close-minded, neo-nazi, sunken-headed, piece of left-over taco shit.
