Clamdigger Dip
1 can (7 1/2 - 8 ozs) minced clams
1 package ( 8ozs) cream cheese, softened
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon grated onion
1 teaspoon chopped parsley
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon liquid hot pepper sauce
Assorted chips, crackers, or raw vegetables
Drain clams; reserving juice
Cream the cheese. Add seasonings and clams; mix thoroughly. Chill at least 1 hour to blend flavors.
If necessary to thin dip, add clam juice gradually.
Serve with chips, crackers, or raw vegetables.
Yields 1 1/3 cups.
