| Am I a mean mom? My kids were given some early Christmas Presents. They of course wanted to open them up right then. Here's the mean part... I told them they could open one if they did extra chores. After my 9 yr old got quite a lot done and my 5 yr old hardly anything I was going to let him open and not her... Then I took out the trash and they started screaming(9yr old) kicking and biting (5yr old) threw them into bed and said in order to get any presents the house now has to be spotless and no fighting. Should I use the presents as housekeeping incentive again and risk them killing each other. |
