CHRIS
Chris was a boy that i knew in high school.i thought he was so freakin' hot. the summer that i turned 15 i was dating his best friend Scott. by the time school started we had broken up & i developed a little crush on chris thru out the year. i just admired him from far & told my friends that i thought he was hot. my friend amber didn't know who he was & when i pointed him out at lunch she said "Oh,Jolie..." & i'm like "what?!",thinking she was gonna make fun of me. but to my surprise she said"he's CUTE!" nothing ever came of it becos i didn't wanna suffer the ridicule of Senior Rejection cos i was a Lowly Freshman.
both Chris & Scott joined the Navy after graduuation. so they were both gone by the end of the summer that i turned sweet sixteen. in the midst of my sophomore year i spotted Chris in the school hallway & was elated to see him. i talked to him very briefly. he was home for xmas & visting people at school....later that night me & my friends were doing our weekly show on the school's TV/Radio Station & Chris called. he pretended to be someone else but i recognized his voice. he met me after the show & we walked out the the park. he sipped on a bottle of Black Velvet the entire time we were together. (which i kept as a memento for YEARS! as a matter of fact i only threw it away about a year ago! silly isn't it?!) i thought he was being so sweet & i was ridiculouly happy that he held my hand. but he was drunk. & back then i didn't get that at all. i didn't drink so i didn't understand that people got drunk & did things they normally wouldn't do &/or make out with people they don't even like...like everything else i learned in my youth-->i found out the hard way. so we were at the park. we made out. i foolishly thought he would stay in touch with me when he left again. he did not. not only that, he denied our little romp in the park. some of his friends that were in my class found out & teased me the rest of the school year. just another one of my many high school humiliations....his sister was also pissed that i said i made out with him. ooops!
i was an ugly duckling then....when he was gone i turned into one fucking HOT swan!!!! i was 20.i was in the best shape of my life so i was at my peak when he returned!!! i saw him hanging out with my brother Joseph one night & i'm like "oh..Hi Chris!!" & was so delighted that he couldn't keep his eyes off of me!!! it also helped that Joseph's friend Darryl was hitting on me(even tho he kept calling me "elizabeth"!)--so Chris would really know he missed out! i saw Chris a few times after that & he talked to me & i'd flirt with him. then one night he was supposed to meet me uptown--he showed up but then these girls pulled over to talk to him so i slinked away w/o saying "goodbye." another night i was cruising around with Amber & Chris pulled us over...we went to amber's house. we sat on the couch. we started kissing. no alcohol was involved this time. next thing i know we're heading out to the park again. we made out again. just like the last time.BUT i was not attracted to him anymore--so i got bored.i wanted to go home. so he drove me home. & subconciously maybe it was a way to get back at him. it wasn't about revenge at the time--but i guess it turned out to be that way & that's what i could tell people! it makes a better story! cos it's funny that it happened in the same place that it occured 4 years earlier & i created the exact same scenrio...only this time if someone asked me about it I DENIED IT.
