OK. Here's a little relationship insight for all of you Cherry Tappers who bother to read my blogs.
On Myspace I have a little thing called "Chris' Corner - Advice for the Everyday Nitz". I think I'll bleed that over here for today.
Todays Subject....
"I love you"....oh yes those 3 little words that can make the world go round and make a couple truely, truely happy,....right?....huh?
Overused, underappreciated, it's lost a lot of it's meaning by now. In this day and age couples say it after only a few weeks....sometimes days. It's ridiculous. These words have a powerful impact.
Someone once told me that it "solidifies the relationship". Yeah it might. But it's such a powerful emotion that it really requires more thought than what is being put into it. How many of you can look back and say...."I didn't love him/her like I thought I did"? Don't rush these things. You may love the companionship....the possibility of never being alone....aspects of their personality, but you can't say you love that person when you haven't begun to know them yet. You can live with someone for twenty years and not know who they really are. Keep that in mind when you're ready to say it.
I want you to do something now....take how many relationships you had....and how many have you said I love you to? If it's more than 50% you need to evaluate what you say....sorry for being a dick, but it's just the facts.....seriously think about it.
What happens if a bad break up occurs? Most of the time the couples can't stand each other right? But didn't they.....love eachother? Wait so....if true love....never dies....then...how can they hate...eachother...doesn't make much sense to me.
Now SOME couples can remain friends after a break up....but it IS a rarety.
My whole point of this long rant is take it slow. You really care for this one. Take it slow.
