I hear the echo of children at play,
The sound so happy and cheerful.
I enjoy what I hear throughout the day,
Though today you can't be too careful.
Let your child know you love and care,
For they can not be replaced.
In a year so many children disappear,
And all is left are the memories of their face.
Keep your eyes and ears open,
Always know where the children be.
For I never want this to happen,
To neither you nor me.
