What are you waiting for?

Hey folks, Dying Regret guitarist Willie recently became sponsored by Halo Guitars...as part of this, Willie gets smoking deals on their axes...so, he took them up on getting a deal on a Hellfire model guitar and had it modified with a custom Dying Regret logo inlay at the 11th, 12th and 13th frets on the fretboard. Great, huh? But wait it gets even better....read on! Then, a couple of days ago, Waylon, THE MAN at Halo Guitars, contacted Willie...letting him know that they were liking the looks of the inlay so much that they were thinking about CREATING A LIMITED RUN OF HELLFIRE GUITARS CUSTOMIZED WITH THE DR LOGO!!! We are beside ourselves with this news!!! More details and pointer to come. Be sure to go check out Halo Guitars [www.haloguitars.com] if you are in the market for a new guitar...of course, I'd say wait until the new DR logo Hellfire guitars are available... Thanks all! Ace

Hey all, Our new EP "The Price of Human Ruin" was recently added to the inventory of CD Baby, the online music retailer. Check out the great comments and review we recieved from Brad @ CD Baby! [Thanks so much, Brad!] "I love your "DYING REGRET: The Price Of Human Ruin" CD so much I'm going to feature it on the FRONT PAGE of CD Baby for a few days. We're REALLY picky about what goes on the front page. We get about 150 new albums a DAY coming in here now, (about 150,000 total), and yours is one of the best I've ever heard." And now for the review [again, from Brad @ CD Baby!]: "Got twenty minutes to spare for some "unrelenting orchestrated destruction with beautiful overtones of pain?" Sure you do. While the world continues to be helplessly saturated with metalcore bands that all claim to be poised and ready to rip your ears off with their unrelenting assault, few seem to actually be able to cut the mustard. This EP makes a strong case for why this San Diego five piece might be one of the groups worth paying attention to. Heavy on the riffs but not dependent on them, these songs are fast and slyly sophisticated, throwing in hits and breaks that add a real variation to the structure of the rhythms. The drums may be the real backbone here, cranking into double time with ease and almost toying with the other members, beckoning for them to catch up. The subject matter of the songs is typically dark, but the vocals are delivered with enough gusto and passion that they never seem forced or put on. I would normally say that it's too bad this is just an EP, but this format works as a great introduction to these guys, giving the listener a potent dose of the kind of metal this band has to offer."
And some feedback from CT's very own Dixie!
