WHERE DO I START. MY NAME IS JULIE. I AM 5'2" TALL. I AM IN A WHEELCHAIR. I HAVE DARK BLONDE HAIR DOWN TO MY SHOULDERS. I ALWAYS WEAR MY HAIR UP IN A PONYTAIL BECAUSE I HATE IT WHEN IT GETS IN MY FACE AND ON MY SHOULDERS. I HAVE TWO OLDER BROTHERS, A SISTER-INLAW AND A NEPHEW. WE ALL LIVE IN THE SAME HOUSE SO IT IS A LITTLE CROWDED BUT WE MANAGE. I HAVE A NEUROLOGICAL DISORDER CALLED NEUROFIBROMATOSIS TYPE 1. THAT CAUSES ME TO BE IN THE WHEELCHAIR. I LIVED IN FT. MADISON AND WAVERLY IOWA, FT. DIX NEW JERSY, FT. SHAFTER HAWAII, AND FT. MEADE AND SEVERN MARYLAND. MY DAD WAS IN THE ARMY. HE PAST AWAY ON ACTIVE DUTY IN APRIL OF 1998. R.I.P DAD. I AM ONLY HERE FOR FRIENDSHIP. I HOPE THAT IS ALRIGHT WITH ALL YOU GUYS, BECAUSE I AM IN A RELATIONSHIP. MY BOFRIENDS NAME IS DAVID. I LOVE HIM WITH ALL MY HEART. I MISS HIM LIKE CRAZY BECAUSE HE LIVES IN HAWAII. WE HAVE BEEN GOING OUT SINCE 1994. I LOVE HAVING FUN. I LIKE TRYING EVERYHING NEW TO ME. I WILL TRY MOST ANYTHING ONCE JUST TO SEE HOW IT IS. I LIKE HANGING OUT WITH FAMILY AND FRIENDS. I GET BORED FAST. I DON'T KNOW WHY I JUST DO. MY OLDEST BROTHER IS THE BEST. HE SPOILS ME ROTTEN. I TRY MY BEST TO RETURN THE FAVOR. I DON'T KNOW WHAT I WOULD DO WITHOUT HIM. HE IS MY BEST FRIEND. HE IS IN THE NAVY. I SUPPORT OUR MILITARY 100%. IF YOU DON'T WANT TO STAND BEHIND THEM THEN STAND IN FRONT OF THEM. THANKS TO ALL OF OUR SERVICE MEN AND WOMEN FOR SERVING OUR COUNTRY AND MAKING ALL THE SACRIFICES THEY MAKE EVERYDAY TO KEEP OUR COUNTRY FREE. You stay up for 16 hours. He stays up for days on end.
You take a warm shower to help you wake up. He goes days or weeks without running water.
You complain of a "headache", and call in sick. He gets shot at as others are hit, and keeps moving forward.
You put on your anti war/don't support the troops shirt, and go meet up with your friends. He still fights for your right to wear that shirt.
You talk trash about your "buddies" that aren't with you. He knows he may not see some of his buddies again.
You walk down the beach, staring at all the pretty girls. He patrols the streets, searching for insurgents and terrorists.
You complain about how hot it is. He wears his heavy gear, not daring to take off his helmet to wipe his brow.
You go out to lunch, and complain because the restaurant got your order wrong. He doesn't get to eat today.
Your maid makes your bed and washes your clothes. He wears the same things for weeks, but makes sure his weapons are clean.
You go to the mall and get your hair redone. He doesn't have time to brush his teeth today.
You're angry because your class ran 5 minutes over. He's told he will be held over an extra 2 months.
You call your girlfriend and set a date for tonight. He waits for the mail to see if there is a letter from home.
You hug and kiss your girlfriend, like you do everyday. He holds his letter close and smells his love's perfume.
You roll your eyes as a baby cries. He gets a letter with pictures of his new child, and wonders if they'll ever meet.
You criticize your government, and say that war never solves anything. He sees the innocent tortured and killed by their own people and remembers why he is fighting.
You hear the jokes about the war, and make fun of men like him. He hears the gunfire, bombs and screams of the wounded.
You see only what the media wants you to see. He sees the broken bodies lying around him.
You are asked to go to the store by your parents. You don't. He does exactly what he is told even if it puts his life in danger.
You stay at home and watch TV. He takes whatever time he is given to call, write home, sleep, and eat.
If you support your troops, the click "reply to poster" copy all the codes, and repost the bulletin.
If you don't support your troops well, then don't re-post. You won't die in 7 days, your love life won't be affected, and you won't have the worst day ever. You don't have to repost. It's not like you know the men and women that are dying to preserve your rights.

We as human beings have all been affected by what happened
on September 11th, 2001....
We as Americans...
Even more so...
I believe in fighting for our freedoms...
In standing up for what we believe in
I believe in our soldiers and know that what they are doing
is a huge sacrifice....But how long should they have to
sacrifice their family, friends, and loved ones?
to continue standing up for what we as a nation believe?
Don't get me wrong, I know that they have made the
decision to stand up and fight for our country
All I am saying is...Is there a limit?
Do you really think that this will end someday?
I believe that if we pull our men and women out now
that what we are looking at for our future will be
far worse than September 11th was.
I'm not saying that I would not love for our military
to come home, because I would love nothing more
But is that a realistic viewpoint?
I think that every human being questions our future
I am no different...I have a lot of questions about
what can happen if we make any moves as a nation
in any direction...
My purpose of this bulletin...
is to make people stop and think of the importance of
what 9/11 meant to us as humans
what that day meant to us as Americans
And what any movement we make from here
on out can do to us as a Nation and as a human being
September 11th, 2001 is a day that noone will ever forget
A day that will live in our hearts for the rest of our lives
We have all lost so much because of this day
But we have also gained....
We have gained strength as a Nation and as
a group of people...
We have gained knowledge....
to be prepared for anything...
We have gained a newfound sence of humanity
So, when you think about 9/11....
don't forget to think about the good things that have
come from that terrible day...
Not just the bad things that happened because of
the events that took place on that day
We have a lot to be thankful for...
But only you know what it is that is in your heart
that you should be thankful for....
In conclusion...I hope that no matter where you are
and what you will be doing on this day...
Just remember that you can find peace in knowing
that we are learning...we are growing...and we have all learned
to love each other a little more...and that humaity still lives
on in each of us....
