1 large round steak cut into 1 inch cubes 1 C. chopped onion 1 to 2 cans (4 oz. each) chopped jalapeno peppers (depending on how hot you like it) 1 32 oz. can crushed tomatoes 8 oz. tomato sauce 2 t. crushed garlic salt and pepper Saute beef cubes in oil until brown in small batches. Add onion, garlic, salt and pepper. Cook until onions start to get transparent. Add jalapeno peppers, tomatoes and tomato sauce. Cook 1 hour or until beef is very tender. Serve with warmed flour tortillas and refried beans. Serves 6 - 8.
