IF YOU'RE EASILY OFFENDED, NOW WOULD BE A REALLY GOOD TIME TO FUCK OFF
This profile features coarse language. This is not because I have a limited vocabulary. It's above average, I know cuz I done a test. I just like to swear.
I'm single, straight, live in Birmingham and work in a science museum. Yes, I am a geek, so callin' one won't even fuckin' register.
I've been told I've got a strange sense of humour, which is better than not having one at all. Even though I hate the things, I've found myself using those little smily sideways faces things( :) ) so people know when I'm kidding. I can be a bit sarcastic, but in England it's called "taking the piss" and is usually meant in fun. Believe me, you'll know when I'm serious. I also use a lot of brackets. So there.
A NOTE ABOUT PUNCTUATION: if you don't know where the apostrophe goes, DON'T USE CONTRACTIONS.
im - not a word
id - the part of the psyche, residing in the unconscious, that is the source of instinctive impulses that seek satisfaction in accordance with the pleasure principle and are modified by the ego and the superego before they are given overt expression.
cant - insincere, esp. conventional expressions of enthusiasm for high ideals, goodness, or piety.
dont - not a word
your - belonging to
were -to exist or live
See, it can get confusing.
A FURTHER NOTE OF ADVICE: It's getting to be that the phrase "fan me, add me, rate my pics" rhymes with "I want to cover you in shit and stick pins in your eyes". If that's your message/comment, PLEASE don't leave it. Because I won't. But I might stick pins in YOUR eyes. Metaphorically speaking, of course.
LAST WORD: I don't rate pictures with guns in them. I just don't. If I have rated all of your pictures but one, it's probably got a gun in it. Thank you.
Music is currently my main obsession (I have a lot of obsessions). I play bass guitar in a couple of local bands, and I also write and record weird shit under the name "An Anvil And A Feather" (call that a plug). I am also a fanatical listener of music. I won't say my tastes are that broad, but I like a lot of different bands. One thing that really pisses me off is people who say they "like a bit of everything" which usually means they like shit music. Everyone has a favourite song at least, I'm convinced.
Some (but not all) of the stuff I like: Tool, Isis, Pelican, Grails, Neurosis, Deftones, Pearl Jam, Curve, Mastodon, Mare, APC, Blood and Time, Bee and Flower, Red Sparowes, Dillinger Escape Plan, Filter, Nine Inch Nails, Nina Simone, Faithless, Black Sabbath, QOTSA, Soundgarden, Creedance, The Clash, Lynard Skynard, Cave In, Converge, Tunng, Voice Of The Seven Woods,Una Corda, Bossk, Mother Trucker, Manatees, Zombi, Haddonfield Illinois, Russian Circles, Mogwai, The Ramones, Godspeed You! Black Emporer, Portishead, Pixies, Iggy Pop, Pink Floyd, early Stones, Led Zepplin, Black Flag, Made Out Of Babies, Smashing Pumpkins, Public Enemy, Earthtone9, Annie Lennox, Kate Bush.

I like reading. I think the word might be "avid". I'm usually reading two or three books at a time (I'm not bragging, I'm just clever). I'm fairly open to what I read, but favourites include Stephen King, Clive Barker and biographies of famous bods. If anyone has any suggestions, I'd be glad to hear them.
I like films as well, and again what I like is fairly diverse. Comedy, horror, thrillers, historical epics like “Monty Python and The Holy Grail”. It all depends on what mood I’m in. I tend to avoid anything with Ben Affleck in it, cause he’s shit, but he keeps cropping up in Kevin Smith’s films. Fucker.
I have a general interest in mind expansion, whether by chemical, physical or spiritual means. Areas I've already investigated to some degree include hallucinogens, sensory deprivation and some forms of mediation. I have a belief that the human brain is capable of just about anything. The shame is that most people don't use the parts that we already have access to, let alone the parts that are lying dormant. Think up, people.
I'm not big on sports, but I do like to watch baseball (unusually for a Brit). I also like extreme sports. I don't take part in these as often as I would like, due to being broke and also a bit of a coward, but I like surfing, which I do badly, snowboarding, which I do marginally better than surfing and skateboarding, which I don't do at all anymore because I'm old and it scares the bejeezus out of me.
