Quick update on this darling little girl. First I got her name wrong (multitasking did this) her name is Rosa Gail. She is 6 lbs., but her lungs are not fully developed. The doctors said this was what was causing the shortness of breath and is normally seen in really small birth-weight babies. They are thinking that the lungs should develope over the next 3 days to 2 weeks. They will keep her on the feeding tube during this time and keep monitoring her closely.
