I remember the day when there was shock on everyone’s face,
As we stood there all in fear
we could hear the screams and the sirens roar.
Dust and debris covered the streets,
day had turned to night,
everyone was in fright.
Millions were killed for no reason at all,
This is the day the twin towers would fall.
The Pentagon was all mangled in shreds,
as people thought they were safe all tucked in their beds.
The planes were crashing to the left and to the right,
one of them even fell in mid flight.
But our country isn’t a weak one,
even though we took the time to mourn.

to the way it was in the past.
