Ingredients
3/4 C. butter or margarine, softened
3/4 C. firmly packed light brown sugar
3/4 C. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 1/4 C. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
3 C. uncooked oats (quick-cooking or old-fashioned)
1 C. butterscotch chips
1 C. chocolate chips
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a large bowl, mix butter, brown sugar, and sugar until well blended. Beat in eggs and vanilla extract. In a separate bowl, mix flour, baking soda, and salt, then gradually beat into the blended mixture. Stir in the oats, butterscotch and chocolate chips and mix well. Drop tsp. at a time on ungreased cookie sheets about 2 inches apart. Bake for 8 - 10 minutes until golden. Cool 1 minute on the cookie sheets, then move to wire racks to cool completely.
