OMG things are busy!! My grandbaby is growing like a weed! She is now 4 weeks old. She had her bi-weekly appt yesterday and she is now at 8 lb 1 oz. They're happy now with her weight since she was 3 weeks early at 5lb 13oz so she now only has to go once a month for a few months.
And of course she's the light of my life! I initally took the whole thing pretty badly but I can honestly say once I saw her, all of that just went away. My daughter is doing a great job with her but at the same time she now realizes that it wasn't nearly as easy as she thought it was going to be. I told her that from day one but what do I know. LOL.
I decided I needed to get a 2nd job. That was pretty tough to find because of my hours at my full time job but I finally found it and I LOVE the job! I would have been content just running a register somewhere for $7.50 an hour but this turned out WAY better! I'm working for an airline that handles freight, primarily for hospitals, major medical centers, etc.
I will be scheduling the flight which means finding the right flight that meets their requirements as far as date, time, etc, then I dispatch them and confirm when they've arrived at their destination. It could be for something like transporting mice for testing or getting an organ from a hospital on the east coast to one on the west coast for transplant.
Needless to say time is of the essence but its SO exciting. I'm really hoping it turns into a full time job that will replace the full time job from hell I have now. I'm still trying to find a new full time job. I need to get out from under the job I have now. There's b.s. anywhere you work but its over the top where I work and its taken its toll. I've totally had ENOUGH so hopefully I'll find something SOON.
Between both jobs and helping with the baby, I don't have much time for a life cus I'm literally working 7 days a week. But I have to right now to get above water. Hopefully I won't have to for long but the stress of everything is more than I can handle.
So....if I'm not around as often as I have been or if I don't respond right away to messages or comments, its only because I'm going non-stop at work. And in what spare time I have, I'd rather spend it with my grandbaby - no offense to anyone! LOL!
