I wonder if anyone realized that back in the day…a term used for stories way back when….that the “Pony Express” did not have a single Pony on the payroll. Funny thing is they always used horses. That is one of those strangely but true facts. I guess the catch phrase name sounded much better then the Horse Express did.
Another one of those strange oddities is Rice Paper. Not a speck of Rice was used in the process…however the Paper received it’s name due to being used to make Rice packets.
Did you also realize that today we use the word Green because mostly it is an Earth Friendly term associated along with helping the environment but giving back to the earth. Well I bet you did not realize that a tiny rodent gives back more due to its forgetfulness. Yes the Squirrel will bury its nuts and often will forget where they are buried for winter food stock and the nut will form into a tree. Weird isn’t it?
Well enough about strange facts I am strange for bringing them up. But it’s a Friday and the start to another weekend…wow do the weeks fly by or what…
I am in two separate venues this weekend, so for me the weekend will flyby. First off there is a Charity event I am playing in and it’s always a favorite of mine the Teddy bear Open in which is a very supportive event in helping those Children through very trying times that have Cancer. The other event I am involved in is the annual Wine Tasting event held at the Sister of my best friend’s house. They normally set wine sell records with the company that puts the event on. PRP wines International. They have the most fabulous collection of foreign and domestic wines. The funny thing is this company sells a wine called Tango Cream and it tastes just like Irish Cream.
