I broke my finger at work 8 weeks ago and was fired 5 weeks ago and no, my finger is only half healed, with me still being on light duty with NO USE of my left hand. Last night, a former co-worker text me (don't know how they got my phone number) and asked if I could go out to eat. I said sure, as long as my kids could go too. When we met at the restaurant, I ordered the food and me and my kids ate while the person from work paid for it but didn't eat. This sounds suspicious. I think my company hired someone to take me out to see if I am using my finger. I do have a lawyer so should I be worried?
A. They are spying to get out of paying
B. Don't worry about it
C. Change cell phone number and hope this doesn't happen again
D. Take advantage of the situation and play it out. |
