Here are some thoughts from the weekend: I feel bad for the suckers who are waiting in line in K-mart right now at 2:32am, I went to Wal Greens and Giant Eagle, and both were empty. Just so you know I went to super K-mart first and those lines were crazy. B.A. Sweetys in Parma rules!!! The Jigsaw in Parma is going to be as big a deal in this market as Peabody’s is in a short time. You can go to the venue without worrying about your car, and it treats the bands that play shows in that place well. King and At No End are two of the best kept metal scene secrets in Cleveland, i hope for not much longer. AIW put on on a great show Friday night, Al Snow was the bomb. Every match was a good one. I continue to not get people swinging their arms and punching in the mosh pit, if everyone is doing it fine, but if you are one guy doing it.............. On that note.......... I feel bad kinda today. 11 years ago I went to a Black Sabbath show at Nautica and a bunch of us were moshing. The older guys that were there were very pissed that we were moshing, and kept wanting to fight. I go to a lot of shows, and I understand the need for the younger crowd has to get some anger out, but I don’t really like it anymore. In then same breath, I understand that the floor is their domain, and I have to put up with it. That being said if I just paid 5 dollars for a beer, and some dirty, sweaty kid knocks my beer out of my hands, well I would be pissed to. I totally understand why those guys were pissed now. Here are some random thoughts going in my head at the moment:

Where is this global warming? I just want local warming at this point.

Being bald feels good, better then I expected.

People in Cleveland, from Cleveland having on Yankees gear, not because they support the team, but just because it is cool. Ask those guys to name 5 players other then Jeter or A-Rod on the team.

At least you can talk football with Steeler’s fans, they know their football. You ever try talking to a New England football fan, they really know nothing. Well they know stuff from the last 10 years. Now Red Sox fans, they know their baseball.

I do one day want to see the Chicago Cubs win a World Series, just so I can quit feeling bad for that one fan with the headphones.

I hate St. Patrick's day, people pretending they are "Irish" for the day. Try having Irish blood 365 days a year. Then try not blowing up every ten seconds.

Sometimes being in charge means being alone.

If your back is against the wall, maybe it is time to think about how you got to that point in the first place. You may learn something.

We all make mistakes and errors in judgment, it is how we learn and adjust to those mistakes that make us better people.

Remember, sometimes even if you don’t like a person in a professional setting, you still have to deal with that person. Respect starts with how you deal with those around you.

I am sorry if I sometimes expect others to do their jobs without bending the rules, or expect people to take responsibility for their actions.

Bottom line, at the end of the day I have to look at my ugly mug in the mirror everyday, I feel okay about the person staring back at me. You don’t have to like me, agree with my opinions, or believe anything I have to say. All I can do is try to to live this life the best I can, the best way I know how. I will fight for what I believe in.

Here is the deal Browns fans........ This setback in Cincinnati turned out to be quite devastating for the Browns, who no longer control their own destiny to reach the AFC playoff field. With a win against the 49ers in Cleveland on Sunday, the Browns must then wait and see what happens when the Titans play the Colts. Bottom line, even if the Browns beat the 49ers, the Titans still have to lose against the Colts in Indy. If the Browns lose then the Titans get in no matter what. Derek Anderson will be in another uniform next year I feel.

In this time of the birth of Jesus Christ, we get together with our family and friends, exchange gifts, and wish each other well. This is all that I really have left. The meaning of Christmas was lost long ago, as I simply no longer believe in any religion. I believe in some kind of higher power, but not a god, or a son of god. I have found that the bible simply does not answer the questions that I have, it simply covers up facts with uneducated half truths. Early man simply did not understand the world, religion simply exist to to ease us as we come closer to death, it tells us that there is a rainbow on the other side. I have seen no evidence of any god, nor have I seen any real good coming from any religion. We all have to sleep at night, it is easier to think if we die before we wake, that some happy place awaits. All I have seen from religion is greed, and perversion, and faith based on forgiveness of sins. I simply cannot believe in a god that forgives so easily. If you ask me to pray for something, or someone, all I have to offer is a happy thought and hope. That is all I have left to offer.
