What is a Boyfriend
Between the bothersome stage of adolescense and the delightful feticitueds of fatherhood, we find a gangly jealous, but darling hunk of a man called a BOYFRIEND.
Boyfriends come in handy and they come in all types of cars and clothes, but on the inside they all have the same MOTTO: "Go with as many girls as possible, break as many hearts as you can, and hurt as many feelings as possible without being made a fool of or falling for anyone themselves".
Boyfriends are found anywhere and everywhere except where they are supposed to be--at their girlfriends house.
When you are washing dishes or fixing your hair they want you to come over, but when you want a kiss they are fixing their cars or adjusting their computers.
When you are with his friends he is making smart remarks and disregarding your new outfit and feelings, but when you are alone he is an Angelic Romeo. When you want to make a good impression on your parents he trips over the table spills everything and wont answer when you speak.
No one can get such a kick from sneaking around corners, losing the cops, playing poker, video games all night, and watching the girls go by on the street. He likes cars, football, movies, video games, hamburgers, gum and GIRLS!
He isnt much at getting up in the morning, getting a haircut, regular dates, meeting parents or driving straight home! He has the appitate of a jungle creature and the energy of a dead snake, the stories of an encyclopieda or shall I say a Fairy Tale, the temper of a lion the rare determination of a steel trap and a heart as big as the rock of Gebalter, (sometimes).
He is the last to wake up every morning and the last to go to bed each night.
Nobody else can get car greese all over his face, shirt, pants and whatever else like a BOYFRIEND. Nobody can squeeze into a glove compartment a crowbar, two screwdrivers, a hammer, pliers, lighters, a t-shirt a pair of girls gloves, a bottle opener, 4 traffic tickets, and much more like a BOYFRIEND.
He has the charming disposition of an atom bomb, and the gratitude of an inocent baby. You can lock him out of your house but not out of your heart, he is a lover with 4 hands and a sweetheart with 10 arms.
You can keep him away from the girl next door but you can not keep him away from your television set.
You might as well give up, he knows everything but your moods; what you mean when you say something, what you like and dislike and he often reminds you of it.
You can call him a jerk, a bum, a sneak, an asshole, but he looks at you with "that kind of look" and then when all things are doubtful, he can mend all of these things with these magic words:
I LOVE YOU!!
