Last night I watched Running with Scissors. The movie was gawd awful! OMG! I absolutely loved the book. The book was cleverly written and was hilariously bizarre. The movie lacked sooooo many of the great qualities in the book. I was rather disappointed. It could have been done so much better. If I were a writer I'd be sitting down and writing a new screen play. Why is it so hard for some books to translate to movies? Is it because some times the details get lost in translation? I'm just so disappointed. I wanted the movie to be half way decent just to see what someone else's take on the book was.
