Interests
Alright, general interests. Music has been something that has been there since minute one, in good times and bad, here or there, no matter where, and I consider it as such a rather special point of my life I must say. I tend to look for songs, artists and projects that are outside the range that you would hear in commercial spaces or in the mainstream of social trends. So if you like alternative, strange or quirky, you know where you can ask for music.
Swords. On one hand, a classic weapon from ancient times, on the other, a symbol of heraldry and a tool of social status. I don't know what swords have, in fact, they are just long knives if you think about it, but their aesthetics and shape is something that especially calls my attention. Rapiers, Claymores, Katanas, Sabres, Falchions, Daggers, Broadswords, Scimitars, it doesn't matter which one, each and every one of them has its common beauty, including knives (which in my country, have a curious historical background)
Mystical theme: I am a person who considers himself above all, a scientist, with his feet on the ground and attached to what is feasible and demonstrable, but I also admit that there are elements that science will never reach by its own hand and that escape its usual framework of understanding, therefore, if something has ever happened to you that is outside of all logic or common sense, do not fear, here you have a company that has gone through the same thing and thanks to a life like that, I have understood quite a few things from that "other side", so, magic, grimoires, spirits, ghosts, gods, saints or any other way of life, if you want to talk about it, I may give you a hand on the subject.
Writing is perhaps another pillar that has led me to be able to process days of quite intensity. Anyone can write whatever they like anywhere in the world, but when you write something, you are telling someone something. People take everything for granted and preconceive everything in general, but when you pay special attention to the details, the world takes on a different meaning. And the night is perfect for writing (but be careful, you will probably pay for it the next day with a lot of sleep and tiredness in general, if you like to write, try to do it during the day), currently my favorite reading is Vampirates, by Justin Somper, although I still have to resume other readings and start others as long as time allows me.
Last but not least, I consider life to be an eternal battle between action and inaction. Something basic, but that escalates to a higher level the more years pass and the more things happen to you, from the most normal to the most bizarre, from the simplest to decisions of very, very deep difficulty. I do not consider myself someone wise or smart, in fact, I think I still have a lot to learn over the years, however, I can say that, whatever path you choose in this life, you must keep in mind that it requires enough will to maintain that decision, otherwise, welcome to the world of doubts and uncertainty. Even when you play with your best hand, you can slip up, but even when you slip up, you can find an opportunity that makes you continue. In a world of eternal change, flowing is the best way to go.
Music
He** naw, how many genres? I think you're going to have to ask me specifically the musical genre, the artist or the song, otherwise we'll never finish.
Movies
Honestly, I wouldn't know what to tell you here, but normally, productions from the 80s, 90s and 2000s are my norm, so if it's about movies, series or other type of content along those lines, those are the waters where I move. Generally I like Quentin Tarantino's films, he has very good counterpoints and his works are quite charismatic and interesting, my favorite movie so far I would say is The Prince of Egypt (yes, I know it's an animation, but believe me, it has a powerful message). And about Tarantino's works, I would say that in general his works, but I keep with Reservoir Dogs.
Idols
None. Don't get me wrong, there are many people to idolize, to create cults, sects or religions around, and even to form beliefs around them. I like to be informed about everything a little, but I don't consider anyone an idol. The closest would be Hypatia of Alexandria, who between the religious wars of Egypt and Greece and other political matters, she became absorbed in the movement of the stars and came to conclusions that, thanks to her efforts, today we have a slightly simpler life. My idols are not famous rock stars, actors or rulers, nothing to do with them, the closest to them are people who have changed the world with their words and actions (from my own land, Jesus Quintero, a southern radio and television presenter). The sense of idolizing something is something that each one gives personally, everyone has their reasons for believing and not believing in certain things.
Video Games
I've played a few titles from different genres and different things, so feel free to ask, but I honestly stick with the Life is Strange series, it's incredibly good and I love its universe (and I still have to play Double Exposure). From a veteran roleplayer to a console and PC gamer, if you fancy playing something, we can talk about it.
