This is a blog from my myspace...but it a good one. I thought I would share....
OMFG..... YEAH I went to see Blue October at the vogue last night in Indy... is you jealous???? ..lol .....It was a journey..... Let me tell you.....
Well I heard Blue October was coming to town.... and I didn't have anyone to go with me..... and I was telling my friend Amber and she was like I will go... so I was like Sweet... so we got our tickets.... and I got a sitter all lined up... and everything was set ... until the night before the show.. the weather man proceeded to tell Indiana that shit loads of the white stuff ( snow) was going to be falling upon us in the afternoon the next day.... and I was like great.... but I prayed and prayed I asked God to hold off until I was back home safe in my bed....but if he couldn't stop it please let us have a safe trip... and I was telling everyone to pray for us.... I work 3rd and I went to bed at 11 and Amber called and woke me up after 2 sometime... and I had not looked outside yet..... and I was like.. has it started snowing yet.... She was basically like are you serious so I looked outside and there was already like 3 inches of snow on the ground.... and I was like I don't care " I am going" .... plus the website said no canceling do to weather.... and who knows when they will pass back through.... and I missed their Free Concert in Louisville KY and I wasn't going to let snow stop me from seeing this one..... so I got ready and my mom came home with my kids and I kissed them and told them bye and I loved them... I was off to get my friend ( 5pm).... Normally it would take 20-25 minutes to get there but no it took a little over a hour..... slow and stead wins the race.... and I never drove over 20 mph... but I made it safely.... I was so happy to see her ... it has been a long time ... and we were off.... going only 20 mph.... and they really haven't done much to the roads so they were sucky.... and when I left my house it was still snowing... but when I picked my friend up it had stopped.... THANK GOD!!! This slow trip gave me and her Plenty of time to catch up ... which was nice.... When we got on I 65 ... people are nuts.... flying down through there.... and cars were off the road and people were still flying ... except me and my 20 mph ass.. they could kiss it .... because I wanted to arrive safely ...car still intact .... when we got into Indy the roads to my surprise were not that bad.. just in some parts.... still putting at 20 mph...lol We found are slight right... ( inside joke, sorry had to put it) and Finally we had arrived ( 830-ish) .... so we park.... and talked to the nice kid taking the money to park.... and the band gave him their new CD and promised to autograph it for him later... for working hard in this weather.. ( he was slightly we will say touched and he was a sweet kid) and we go to get in and Amber forgot her ID and I am hoping they will let her in... WELL they didn't the assholes..... she was like no I will sit in the car... we argue about it... but she goes to the car ... I go in and head to the bar.... I talk to a chick about talking to the manger and order a coke and her tipped .. got to be nice to get your way..... I am not going to let my friend sit in the car... so she gets the manger..... well I put on my pouty face and stood close and told him oh far we traveled and she forgot her ID and we couldn't just turn around to go get it.... if we could we would.... and smiled and made eye contact.... I asked for his name and we shook hands... so I went and got her and gave her my debt card and said you are me go to the door and ask for Steve the manger .... he talked to her and asked questions that only someone her age would know not some minor trying to sneak in. So yeah she got in ... THANKS STEVE!!!! and we thanked him ... so I checked my coat and then checked the merchandise ... and headed toward the stage... .. We were soooooooooooo close.... if I wanted to I could spit on him.... not that I would... but we were that close... YEAH!!!! and it fucking rocked.... They played allot of stuff from foiled and a few from other cds that I wasn't familiar with..... but .. The show was amazing... the lighting to Drill a wire through my cheek and X amount of words was awesome.... Justin didn't talk much... just thanked everyone for coming and seeing them a few times.... he seemed shy ... and Ryan the guy who plays the electrical violin thing ... was awesome to watch... when I could see him.. I was by the speakers... Yep ears still ringing.. huh? *puts hand up to ear*..lol They played ... you make me smile, into the ocean, what if we could, 18th floor balcony, everlasting friend, shes my ride home, hate me, calling you, razorblades, and don't hold me to this but I think blue sunshine....or something and like I said some I never heard before.... there were 2 encores .... I was a blast.... I had some drunk horny couple beside me who kept hunching each other and the bitch burnt my hand with her cig.. and I looked at her with a shitty face and said what the fuck.... she took one more hit and put it out... dumb whore... but atta girl... but if she would have burned me again or burn my clothes and I would had to have to punch her in the face... Concerts are about the band not your bf .... do that shit later.... so every time after that if they tried to talk I would woo and after awhile this girl with a woo much higher pitch and much louder than I would wooooo when I did .. so I woooed allot.. so JAB JAB.. I bought a hate me hoodie and a t-shirt and argue with a tree cd.... = $ 75 dollars .. but worth it... ... I get my coat to leave and as we walk back to the car and we pass their bus and the drummer Jeremy Furstenfeld and one of the guitarist didn't get a good look so I don't know which one.... but I got a picture with Jeremy and a autograph.... SCHWEET!!! It was cold and we had a long drive so I didn't stay to wait for Justin.... I was happy that I got what I did... and we arrived safely... so we left and I arrived back at home around 230 am.... and I am still ecstatic from it all.... and thank god we had a safe trip and had a great time..... I will have pics up soon but my concert ticket will be up and the other side with Jeremy's autograph will be in my pics... so take a look..... thanks BLUE OCTOBER for and awesome time and I hope to do it again soon...( yes am still nevous from all that driving)
