1 2/3 oz. vodka
5 oz. tomato juice
2/3 oz. fresh lemon juice
pinch celery salt
2 dashes Worcestershire sauce
2 dashes Tabasco sauce
freshly cracked black pepper
Fill the highball glass with ice cubes. Stir in tomato, lemon juice and vodka. Add spices. Add a coarse grind (or cracked) fresh black pepper and stir.
Garnish with a wedge of lime twisted onto the salted rim of the highball glass. Serve with a celery stalk, complete with leaves as a stirrer.
Note: Renowned as a cure for hangover, this drinks curative powers can be enhanced by stirring in a tablespoon of powdered seaweed (as in dehydrated seaweed soup).
