Alleged Pessimist
Labeled negative for these poem’s I write
It’s really quite sad they’re my psalms of life
An I guess judging solely by them nothing ever goes right
But that’s not the case; it’s how I work through the strife
All these rhythmic journey’s that come from me
Are experiences I’ve had, things I’ve been through si
Just a man that was told he was free
But in times like these I don’t see how that can be
Free to what?
Free to struggle
Free to go hungry
Free to die more daily
Or work enslavingly
Free to be told how to believe
Or feel each day, no way to be
Gradually loosing myself in this mess
Growing more disgusted daily I must confess
That I’m conforming, falling in line
Societies loser, wandering lost an sublime
“But I’ve fought so hard, I’ve failed!” I wail crying
Failed to keep my fire from slowly dying
Flags
Fateful flags, hateful flags,
Irateful flags slew.
As Nazi flags, & Mockery flags,
The slaughter flag of Jews.
From Commi flags, & Afghani flags,
The terror flags have grew
An now the Mad flags & Bad flags,
Made us sad flags too.
For its,
My flag,& your flag,
Our flag is true.
His flag, & her flag,
Their flag is due.
This flag, or that flag,
These flags are new.
But this Red flag, & white flag,
Is half-mast & blue.
High flags, or low flags,
The Raised flags are flew.
As curled flags, & unfurled flags,
Waving flags to view.
Ripped flags, torn flags,
Old tattered flags imbue.
Emblem flags, Symbolic flags,
Metaphoric flags for you.
Society
Over fishing, mink coats, lumber, oil, drugs, need i say more?
A person, trapped, enclosed, & barred,
trying to Flee society & it's beliefs,
Why? It has no reasoning,
Choosing to value someone not by their heart,
But by their weight in gold.
Society squeezes all of the fun out of life.
From the beginning it has told us;
How to dress, How to walk & How to talk
They tell us to be good & pay the taxes,
To pay the payrolls, Of those who support its beliefs.
An if we choose to rebel, well, then we're locked up, caged,
Until society sees fit to unleash us again.
What kind of life is that to live? Going through life brainwashed,
By a cult like plan that everyone seems to follow.
We are meant to be much more Free, like any animal.
Society causes such sorrow in this world.
With elitist greed resulting in mass deaths. (Of All Species)
Damaging, Our Water, Our Air, Our Mother Earth.
So with deforestation & oil spills,it won't be long til Momma Nature's
Liveliness is cut short due to someones money hungry hands.
Renegades
You been walking these dogs, an pacing the halls,
With a thrill for fear in a reckless fog.
Morals melt away, Ethics fade to Grey
Don't care about much or believe in luck
Made your own way in this life that's fucked
An you’ve come to your end now,
So it's time you stepped up man, take what's yours.
An if you loose the gall to say..
"To hell with all of y'all"
Sweat drenched crying in a corner.
I'll come an revive your rage,
At this world's decayed stage.
Reenergize you with spirits from renegades of old.
Knight you a new age rebel, welcome to the fold
Lost In Life
How could any be satisfied,
In a life so mundane?
By greed we are sucked in,
For oil and propane.
Work like a dog,
So you can,
Live a little more.
Paying your dues,
Just another machines wh@re.
Pimped by a system,
Of deceit and lies,
Marching along,
To the beat as it tries,
To make you conform!
