sorry I have'nt been on much, been real busy. I am taking june for my vacation. I am building a new camping trailer, need to get it done for my vacation. between work and that its about all i get done.
I got 7 days off from work, going camping, not sure when I'll be back, I"ll miss ya all.
going camping again next week, won't be on much for a while. I"ll be thinking about ya
sorry for the confusion,
My statues yesterday ‘layedOff,g’n to Play, bbl’ meant “whoooooooo hooooooooo, took a day off”
I layed off free day, on my board, 'job', if ya stay marked up 'available' ‘for the pay half’ I can lay off 1 day a half with out losing any guarantee, stay marked up all half I get an extra days pay 'incentive day'
Railroad terminology
layed off = day off unavailable, 24 hours
with pay or without, depends how ya layoff
as in, LS-sick, LV-vacation, LP-personal, long list
they can't call ya, its mostly a good thing
fired = is not permeate, caught breaking rules
fired 6 days, 120 days , what ever
depends on rule, I think we must have about 6 million of them
Its good or bad, depends if ya want the time off,
most railroads have can insurance , pays when caned or fired,
some make more when fired than when their working, depends how much ya got
furloughed = layed off to I guess, your gone with out pay till they call ya back, can be a day or years, got a lot gone right now
released, terminated = gone, as in fired from or layed off a job anyplace else
Might come back to work, if ya get a lawyer and ya win the case, might even get back pay if court says ya shouldn’t have been.
