He speaks to her in the aftermath,
'find inner healing' he says and as she nods,
she's reminded of when he tasted her nipples,
looked up and told her they were beautiful.
Today, he says he has found peace with God
redeemed from past misdeeds,
although the past was only a breath's moment passed.
He claims new redemption and she kneels,
lost in shameful conviction;
rejection fills her, pierces and bleeds.
