Random X is an occasionally used science to predict the future. X times random = random x ; history repeats itself that way. Some gambling addicts use similar equations to predict state lottery numbers, but it only increases the odds to an extent.
The science is maddening. I know from personal experience. You can drive yourself crazy trying to get ahead of time, or you can live in the here and now. At this point in my life, I feel more like an observer of society, than an actual part of society. I'm starting to become known as the hermit in the middle of town, and it's probably not a good thing.
Don't misunderstand. I still do what most people do. I go to work, the store, and laundrymat, etc. I stay home and write and record music, work on animations for a series of music videos that normally takes a team of animators to get done in a reasonable time frame. AND I socialize here in fubarland, YIM, FaceBook, etc.
I'm only doing things differently to keep my history from repeating itself. I can't change the random, but I can always change the "x". And I can never let the "x" be zero. You know what happens when multiply zero with anything.
So, what do I do? I team up with some slightly less than reliable former bandmembers for a reunion of sorts. AND enter in the local battle of the bands. But, do you know what else? If they stand me up and the judges will allow, I will do the show myself. I don't seem to know who the hell I am, anymore. So, now I will display myself to the public, and let them figure it out.
By deciding to do this, I not only have the "x"; I created the random this time. Do I expect to tip the whole universe out of balance? No, but this time I can expect a real change.
Yours truly,
