Well, I have won the first battle in my continuing fight against the BMV and the state of Indiana. I had applied for unemployment on October 2nd. As expected, the BMV tried to say I was fired for poor job performance. Well, lo and behold I got my determination from the Department of Workforce Development today and they approved my claim. They said that the BMV could not show just cause for my termination and I would be receiving my checks effective immediately.
So now the first battle has been won. This should definitely make it easier for me to win my case against the state. I'm ready to fight!
