I love my job. It's almost exactly what I want to be doing with my life. The only problem is that the supervisors are making things so awful for all of us that I am just about ready to quit. And I'm not the only one feeling this way.
It's a new program, I'll admit it. But our supervisor doesn't do her fucking job. She's supposed to have everything ready for us by the time we get in. Instead, we're constantly having to call to find out what's going on.
I can't go into everything that is wrong with it; it would take me all day to do that. The bottom line is that she's gone to the head honcho and told her that oh, we have it easy over there (when in fact she has never spent more than 15 minutes with us), and that basically we're a bunch of complainers.
We were told at the start to voice any concerns we may have. Now that she's gone and labeled us as such, the boss won't listen to our concerns...not that she probably would have in the first place, but we might have had a better chance.
I am sick and tired of the bullshit and being talked down to and being made snide remarks to. We're run by the state...I've got half a mind to report them and turn in my resignation.
The state went in to the residential house Monday on allegations of abuse. They arrived at 9:30 and were still there at 6. I honestly hope they got bit in the ass--maybe then things might improve.
