If the Red shirt thing is new to you, read below... ? ? ?Last week, while traveling to Chicago on business, I noticed a Marine sergeant traveling with a folded flag, but did not put two and two together. ? ? ? After we boarded our flight, I turned to the sergeant, who'd been invited to sit in First Class (across from me), and in quired if he was heading home. ? ? ? ; No, he responded. ? ? ? Heading out I asked? ? ? ? No. I'm escorting a soldier home. ? ? ? Going to pick him up? ? ? ? No. He is with me right now. He was killed in Iraq, I'm taking him home to his family. ? ? ? The realization of what he had been asked to do hit me like a punch to the gut. It was an honor for him. He told me that, although he didn't know the soldier, he had delivered the news of his passing to the soldier's family and felt as if he knew them after many conversations in so few days. ? ? ? I turned back to him, extended my hand, and said, Thank you. Thank you for doing what you do so my family and I can do what we do. ? ? ? Upon landing in Chicago the pilot stopped short of the gate and made the following announcement over the intercom. ? ? ? 'Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to note that we have had the honor of having Sergeant Steeley of the United States Marine Corps join us on this flight. He is escorting a fallen comrade back home to his family. I ask that you please remain in your seats when we open the forward door to allow Sergeant Steeley to deplane and receive his fellow soldier. I noticed the sergeant saluting the casket as it was brought off the plane, and his action made me realize that I am proud to be an American. ? ? ? The reason? Americans who support our troops used to be called the 'silent majority.' We are no lo nger silent, and are voicing our love for God, country and home in record breaking numbers. When girls don't put out (a girl who agrees lol) Body: When girls don't put out!! This was written by a guy... it's pretty damn smart. Girls -- Please have a sense of humor! This is really funny!! I never quite figured out why the sexual urge of men and women differ so much. And I never have figured out the whole Venus and Mars thing. I have never figured out why men think with their head and women with their heart. FOR EXAMPLE: One evening last week, my girlfriend and I were getting into bed. Well, the passion starts to heat up, and she eventually says, "I don't feel like it, I just want you to hold me." I said, "WHAT??!! What was that?!" So she says the words that every boyfriend on the planet dreads to hear... "You're just not in touch with my emotional needs as a woman enough for me to satisfy your physical needs as a man." She responded to my puzzled look by saying, "Can't you just love me for who I am and not what I do for you in the bedroom?" Realizing that nothing was going to happen that night, I went to sleep. The very next day I opted to take the day off of work to spend time with her. We went out to a nice lunch and then went shopping at a big, big unnamed department store. I walked around with her while she tried on several different very expensive outfits. She couldn't decide which one to take, so I told her we'd just buy them all. She wanted new shoes to compliment her new clothes, so I said, "Lets get a pair for each outfit." We went on to the jewelry department where she picked out a pair of diamond earrings. Let me tell you... she was so excited. She must have thought I was one wave short of a shipwreck. I started to think she was testing me because she asked for a tennis bracelet when she doesn't even know how to play tennis.lol I think I threw her for a loop when I said, "That's fine, honey." She was almost nearing sexual satisfaction from all of the excitement. Smiling with excited anticipation, she finally said, "I think this is all dear, let's go to the cashier." I could hardly contain myself when I blurted out, "No honey, I don't feel like it." Her face just went completely blank as her jaw dropped with a baffled, "WHAT?" I then said, "Honey! I just want you to HOLD this stuff for a while. You're just not in touch with my financial needs as a man enough for me to satisfy your shopping needs as a woman." And just when she had this look like she was going to kill me, I added, "Why can't you just love me for who I am and not for the things I buy you?"
