Well lets see i can always go with the "it wasa dark and stormy day" routine but i won't...that day was like all the rest boreing and lifeless i guess you may say.
My roommate at that time was goofing off on his computer when i asked what he was doing he told me and he told me he was playing a game called Everquest, and asked me to take a look at it.
As i sat there and watched him play it reminded me of the days playing D&D and other type games of those sorts....
He told me after awhile i should make a rogue (since those were what i made when playing in the past), he also told me all the pros and cons to the class,race, and even the god (if i wanted one to follow).
I said i would have to try it to see if i liked it or not ad he said sure go ahead and make a character of any sort or try one of mine that i have, i said would be to hard to play one of his chars since he had alot made that were all high lvl's so i made one from scratch.
During the time i played for those few hours i thought more and more on the subject of weither or not i should start to play this game that so many have already played and alot of my friends did too i found out later.
In the end i broke down and bought the game and stated the long journey of my days playing EQ, and hopefully one day become the best of the best, well least as far and best as i could be compared to everyone else......
Once i had got it all installed i looked into makeing my character and his race....i asked around bout one class that interested me alot the Dark Elf, and was told by alot of people that it was a hard race to play since everyone (in the realm of Everquest) hated them.
So i thought long and hard bout it all and finnaly said ahh what the hell if i am going to be hated as a rogue may as well be hated for everything else then, so i made a rogue dark elf and made my god Innoruuk, the Prince of Hate, and then sat down to think of a name that would stand out or least one that i thought was funny.
I came up with a few names but none that it hought would suit the poro little guy and told my friend when i talked to him next that i had no luck in finding a name for this guy.
He asked me what i was playing class,race,god and all that fun jazz and exclaimed damn you really want him to have no karma do you...
I thought to myself at that statement hmmm what a name Nokarma Noluck and told my friend thanks for the help, he looked at me and wondered what the hell, so i told him the name and he laughed at it. When i told him the reason why i had picked that name he agreed with me on that ya it did suit him.
The reason why i had picked that was because he was a DE everyone hated him (so he had no karma),
and when i placed in his name it didn't take so i went with Nokarm instead.
During the next few days and weeks i played i noticed that i was dieing alot of the time so by the time i hit the age of 20 my surname became Noluc, since i had no luck at liveing without dieing so Nokarm Noluc was born.
