One to a dozen
Lovely As ever
In a crystal vase
But only one
Captures my eye
The black rose
Standing proud
Looking elegant
Outrageously gorgeous
Amongst the red
And the snowy white
The sunshine yellow
That burn bright
The only rebel
Amongst all beauty
I look around
And pull it out
I get a vase
Just simple glass
In goes this beauty
Its black magnificence
Seen purer
In something plain
I smile and think
Even different
Could be
Downright amazing
