The black hole of depression has me in its claws
Searching out hidden secrets and horrible flaws
The part of my past hidden from all
Is like a jump from a building with nothing to catch my fall
Like a deep cut on a vein drawing out blood
That I don't feel even though I see the flood
I cannot feel and cannot see
I could be a coward and flee
The depression puts my body on auto pilot
The emotions that can't come out cause an inner riot
Where I go is in outer space
My eyes turn black and you can't see my face
I don't talk because I forget how
I can walk but never bow
I don't know fear
I don't feel terror
The black hole drags me away
the surface never gets nearer
