well this deployment is coming to an end. What a freaking deployment!!! this was suppsoed to be the easiest and turned out to be the worst. I came with one company as the comm cheif and a SGT, and now i leave with a diffent company as a regular radio operator and a CPL. but i met tons of new friends, a few new enemies, and gret opportunities for when i get out to the USMC. I played a good amount of poker, learned alot, and appreciate a little bit more. I lost my best friend and the one i loved the most, i lost one of my dogs (sparkey) and my bird that i caught my senior year. I have had to go to medical concerning sleep and take ambien, i had tons of talks with the chaplian. I had friends lose loved ones and lost one of the greatest church friends i ever had in Bill Morgan. My little Neice turned one and is now walking and is working on saying Uncle Billy. SHe can point out my picture already. I have reconnected with alot of friends i had in High School, i have gotten alot of new music and got to talk with a few of my favorite bands. I saw puddle of mudd in concert here, and met Gary Sinese(Lt. Dan from forrest Gump). i hve expanded musical horizons, and even gottan a few plans for my future changed. We jammed out with the bassist from filter. I did a good amount of martial arts and moved up to green belt. brown belt was put on hold for me since i had a partially collapsed lung. my lung healed up just fine. I connected and worked with a good numer of Ugandans and now i think i will add a ugandan trip to my list of travels. I made a few new best friends, and will watch the panthers go to the super bowl this year, and i might go to durham for the world beer festival. (300 differnt beers!!!!!) Soo all i all its been good and bad, kind of expected ups and down. I cant wait to get back to good wings, beer, poker, pool, darts, and of course all my friends, fans, and family. my motorcycle and the carolina blonde brewery are calling my name... hehe. soooo.. now the part you have been waiting for and read all the above to get too... as of right now i am supposed to leave this amaizng piece of paradise desert on september 18th!!!! means i will be back earlier than planned.. so get ready.. lol... well, i shall go for now.. hope to hear from you soon.. holla!!!
